New 5-Free Brand Launching SOON: Mischo Beauty Launches With Luxury Nail Lacquer

Chemist-Cosmetologist Creates New Brand of Five-Free Nail Polish

NEW YORK - The inimitable luxury, eco-sustainable new cosmetics brand Mischo Beauty will launch November 1 with its first line of products, Mischo Luxury Nail Lacquer. The brand’s first nail lacquer collection pays homage to Fashion Week, and is suitably named “The Fashion Week Collection.” The collection fuses durable, sought after runway hues with the green-chic qualities absent in the brands crammed together on drug store shelves.

“Today’s woman has to be aware of her health and her beauty without sacrificing one for the other, so I wanted to create a product which does both,” Mischo Beauty founder Kitiya King said.

Chemist and cosmetologist Kitiya King conceptualized Mischo Beauty in the midst of a fruitless, frustrating search for stunning, cruelty free, non-toxic polishes safe for pregnant women.

The typical nail polish is created from a brew of Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Toluene, Formaldehyde Resin, and Camphor. Mischo Beauty is “5-free”- free of the vicious ingredients proven to negatively contribute towards cases of cancer, birth defects, and reproductive issues.

The Autumn/Winter collection is made up of seven shades + a top coat and base coat which compliment each of the seven shades when worn in unison. Perfect shine finally meets the ultimate chip resistant, fast drying properties sold mutually exclusively in the formulas of other brands.

Each shade was inspired by fashion week:
  •  #NYFW (midnight blue)
  • Invite Only (glittering gold)
  • Front Row (vibrant, fearless red)
  • Backstage Beauty (stark, dramatic red)
  • The Tents (soft pink)
  • Lincoln Center (muted khaki green)
  • Empire State of Mind (outre emerald).
Found online only, each bottle of polish sells at $18 at www.ShopMischoBeauty.com.

Here are some additional photos of these gorgeous lacquers! The boxes are refined and sophisticated, which is nice because I love keeping my more luxe brand boxes. I also think it's really cool that the brand is launching a base and top along with their colors since the polishes are 5-free. The price point seems high, but I gladly shell out for Deborah Lippmann shades that I think are remarkable, so I'd love to see what these are like in person!
